Having trouble accessing certain websites or experiencing slow proxy speeds? We've got you covered! Here’s a quick guide to help you troubleshoot common connection issues and ensure a smooth experience.

Common error messages and how to Fix them

Ensure your internet connection is stable and your proxy settings are properly configured.

  1. "Node not found" error

    • This error may occur if there are no residential/mobile devices available that match your filters. To fix this remove some filters (e.g., region or ISP) to broaden your GEO targeting. This will give you access to a larger pool of IPs.

  2. "Node is not available" error

    • If you encounter this error, switch to a different port and check the connection again. Sometimes, the IP address may go offline or experience slow speeds. Changing the port often resolves this.

  3. "Proxy traffic limit" error
This occurs when you’ve used up your allocated traffic:

    • Go to your SimplyNode dashboard.

    • Click “Add Traffic” and confirm your purchase to get more data.

  4. "i/o timeout" error

    • This usually results from a temporary network issue, wait a few minutes and try reconnecting.

  5. "Proxy server unreachable"

    • Double-check the server address and port.

    • Ensure your internet connection is stable.

  6. "Authentication failure"

    • Verify your proxy username and password for typos or incorrect details.

  7. Slow proxy speeds
Proxy speeds can vary as they depend on real devices. To improve speed:

    • Try changing the port to get a new IP.

    • Reduce the number of filters in your GEO targeting.

    • Choose a location closer to you for a better connection.

Reasons you may not be able to access certain Websites

There could be a couple of reasons:

  1. Blocked websites in our Firewall
To protect our network and users, access to financial services, government domains, and certain news websites is restricted. If you need access to these websites, please contact our support team via chat and provide detailed information to help us review your request.

  2. Website blocking based on GEO
Some websites restrict access based on GEO locations. If you’re unable to access a site, try changing the port number or adjusting your GEO targeting to get a different IP address. This should help you bypass any location-based restrictions.
